Chris Thomas is a photojournalist and advertising photographer who is a recipient of Lorenzo il Magnifico Award in Florence Biennale 2019, “Palm Art Award” and of ‘International Aperture Awards”. He contributed artwork to; Time Magazine, Newsweek, Sport Illustrated, New York Times, The Canadian publications as Maclean's, Cosmopolitan, The Calgary Herald, The Financial Post, The Calgary Sun, The Globe & Mail and The National Post. Chris worked for Sports Illustrated during the Calgary’s 88 Winter Olympics. His work has also appeared in European and Asian publications; Newsweek Japan, Der Spiegel and Seura. Chris considers himself a product of Advertising, Art and Photojournalism, mixed with his singular talent of photography. His undeniable artwork is held in prestigious corporates and private collections. Limited edition is done on Dye-Sublimation printed on Aluminum. Dye-Sublimation fuses the dyes to a porcelain-like surface, coating the aluminum. This process is the most permanent colour treatment and then is mounted on metal to last many centuries without mold, watermarks, mildew or rotting.
