Mental practice for painting/art-making

To create a lively painting on a lifeless canvas requires rich imagination with profound passion. And to be in the painting mood is like hearing the unheard, feeling the unseen, painting the absence, moving the unmovable, speaking to silence and bringing all to a meaningful conversation. While experiencing solitary yet, getting crowded, being deeply inspired and motivated but not strained. Spending many hours focusing on a painting but not getting weary is what helps to learning how to let deep feelings flow. In addition, an artist needs to have self-motives, passion, patience, personal meditation, setting determined goals, creating a warm atmosphere probably by listening to favorite music to enjoy the peace of being solitary.

To put oneself in the painting mood, require practice not miracles as to learn how to empty the mind from life stress and hanging issues and let the flow go. Such practice strengthens self-control of personal emotions when facing the outside world. While letting it all flow when painting to visual the factual world in its reality.
